Collective Nouns are those which deal with collections of things or persons.
Instructions:
Sort dominoes equally among players.
Players take turns to put down a domino matching the noun with the correct
word that describes the collection of that noun.
Eg: a "swarm of bees"
The player to put down all his dominoes first, or the player with the least
number of dominoes left is the winner.
Extended Play:
Ask students to invent their own collective nouns... This can be heaps of
fun!
