Get your students to 'hang out' the months on the washing line (piece of string/elastic) so they can 'see' how the seasons work. So much learning to be had with this game -- wonderful for involving the whole classroom.

You will need:
12 pegs (spring type work best)
Length of elastic or string for washing line
Instructions/Extended Play:
- Use the Months/Seasons as Flash Cards.
- Say the months out loud. Practice saying them in the correct order.
- Ask child to Hang Up the Months. Point out the graphics that go with the months.
- Ask child to match up the Seasons with the Months. Use the graphics to help. Take time to look at which Months fall in which Season.
- Ask What Season/Month does their birthday fall in?
- Play Season Snap with all the cards just like traditional snap - (but say snap if two seasons match)
- Play Memory Months for 4 players. Each player chooses one Season Card. Place the Months face down on the table. Players take turns to turn over a card. If it falls in their Season, they keep the card place card back down if it doesn t match. The first player to win all their cards by matching up their Months and Seasons is the winner.
