Description:
The Especially Reading Series “I Can” is a series of 4 books that present a series of things a student can do, such
as ‘I Can Read’. The books use simple words, ideal for late kindergarten
to grade one students. These books have also worked with special needs students
who are just beginning to read (at any age or grade).
There is a line under each sentence in the books that can be used for students
to write the full sentence or just key words in the sentence. For example,
if the sentence is “I can jump over a rope,” the student can write
the word ‘jump’ and ‘rope’ since these may be new words
for them to write. The pages in the books can also be colored by the students.
Each book is between 5-7 full-size pages.
