“Our Earth” is a comprehensive blackline master booklet that features
stimulating activities and experiments to teach 9 to 12 year old students about
earth science concepts. The booklet is divided into five sections:
- The Structure of the Earth
- Landforms
- Rivers and Inland Water
- Coastal Landscapes
- The Ocean
Each section has Teachers’ Notes which provide valuable background information
for each of the different activity pages. These notes will save teacher preparation and research time as they provide the answers to any questions or research that
is required on the activity page. There are some suggested Internet sites to
visit on some of the pages but all the activities can be completed without access
to computer technology.
Students will have the opportunity to practice many different skills when completing
the activities in “Our Earth” including:
